sound like alot of fun, do you get first dibbs on the pieces you like?
ReplyDeleteLOVE that table you got! We had one just like it growing up, and boy I wish I still had it! So lucky to be working in estate sales (either that, or dangerous!)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new venture! Wish you were a little closer... I would definitely be in the line on the first day! I would have fought you for that metal top kitchen table ...Great find!
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a fun undertaking!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new business. I love the green chair--great color and it looks like it is in fabulous condition. Thanks for linking this post to Share the Love Wednesday at Very Merry Vintage Style!

Good for you on starting your own little business and at a rate that you can handle. Going too quickly into it zaps the joy and makes a woman cranky. Keep the love and happiness. PS. The apron was a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeletePS. I decided to follow you for a spell and find out what you are up to!
ReplyDeleteOh Tiffany! I am so embarrassed, I still haven't gotten my fabric photographed and listed on Ebay. I'm so very sorry, I just don't seem to be able to get a good photo - hoping to enlist the hubby to take a stab at it.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to host estate sales (or maybe how DANGEROUS teehee!) and get to see all that great stuff.
Happy Rednesday!
I love the table!!!
ReplyDeleteHow nice for you to be on hand to find good homes for the things left behind. It always makes me sad when family doesn't want the items and they are donated. Loving tribute to the gentleman who passed. Blessings to you and much luck with this. Your family is perfect for it. xo
You are most definitely THE QUEEN OF ESTATE SALES. I really love your green HAPPY CHAIR! What a great find! Looks comfy and fun!
ReplyDeleteOh I adore coming across a stack of old vintage linens and crocheted doilies...and piles and piles of beautiful lace! you must have such a blast doing what you do...you cute apron girl!

Oh cute apron girl I wish I was there at one of your sales. I would have nabbed up those vintage cameras for sure. I must say that I may have had to wrestle you for that darling table. lol! Seriously I wouldn't have created a scene. I try to be a polite estate sale shopper. Have fun with your new adventure and never lose your crown!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Well, you have found your calling - AND you get first dibs, I assume on any goodies. You seem like a natural and I like that you are wearing the apron for distinction! Best wishes for your new adventure. Ann
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of awesome treasures! Love the enamel table you got!
ReplyDeleteKind of looks like fun, even though I'm sure it's a lot of work. It looks like you get first pick which is great. I bet you meet lots of interesting people. Around where I live, professionals are often brought in to run estate sales, making the prices somewhat high.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and hope you'll stop by, Mary Alice
Oh my gosh when I saw that enamel topped table I thought I would snatch that up quick but I see you did. We have similar tastes. It looks to be in great shape too. I love estate sales and need to get back to going to them. Thanks ever so much for linking this up. Good luck with your new venture.
ReplyDeleteHi - good luck to you on your new venture. There's a website - I think it's www.estatesales.com (or something like that) - where you can list your estate sale - and post pictures. Check it out if you haven't already. I don't know what the cost is...but I know lots of people who subscribe to it (me being one of them)and it updates me on all the sales going on in my area.
ReplyDeleteI usually am sailing on summer weekends...but I need to go to a few estate sales. I have a friend who has an estate sale business in the Hamptons - have to go visit one of hers soon.
Good luck!
Linda
