Mam, Is This Chair Taken?

Don't you just love all of the re-furbished, re-cycled, renovated furniture that is showing up EVERYWHERE from local antique malls to Pinterest?  Well, the Cranky Queen just finished her own version of saving the Earth, by restoring these thrift store finds & hauling to her antique booth!
These are what the chairs looked like before the restoration.I would have probably saved the finish, but they really had more than their share of "chigger bites" on them.

This is the lovely 1970's fabric above...
Finished product painted with white chalk paint, distressed, with a walnut stain.  The upholstered seats are more neutral for whomever thinks they are as fab at the Cranky Queen!
Ending this post with the adorable cocktail napkins that a gal pal mailed to me!

STAY CALM & RESTORE A CHAIR!

  1. Those chairs have to be related to my dining room chairs! Love them. I may need to give mine a paint job now though, because those look fabulous.
