I participated in a fun Easter Swap over at the blog It's A Very Cherry World! Sue was a gracious hostess & paired me with a lovely blogger all the way from Ireland! That's right, my swap partner's name is Alina and she lives in Portlaiose, Ireland. Check her blog out Froggy's Craft...
Don't be jealous...but Alina hand~crocheted these cool earrings just for the Queen! |
Beautiful doillies also crocheted for me along with a wooden spool of lace & cotton thread. |
Pastel paper eggs perfect for the Easter Season! |
Yummy chocolate bunny from Ireland.
This little fella won't last long at the royal castle!
So what did I send Alina??? Well, she has yet to receive it. I mailed her package early hoping it would reach her before Easter...
but here is a "sneak peek"...
I made this basket from a vintage infant's bubble suit using Stiffy Fabric Stiffener to stiffen it.
This little funny bunny was found in the bottom of a box at an estate sale... |
The eggs were decoupaged by The Cranky Queen using fabric scraps & the bunnies are both vintage probably from the 1960's and 1970's! |
Who can resist vintage post cards????
...& I love to decorate every season with cookie cutters!
Alina said that she like Elvis, so I found this 2006 candy tin. I thought she could use it to decorate during Valentines! |
...& finally a decorate jeweled egg in a peat pot also created
by The Queen!
So maybe my new blog friend in Ireland will receive her swap package soon...
She will have to wait until next year to decorate with all of the goodies.
From the "Royal Family"...Hope you had a blessed Easter!
STAY CALM & EASTER BLESSINGS!
Tiffany
