The Cranky Queen & gal pal,
Duchess Melanie, went on a
royal road trip to Lebanon, TN for
Bella Rustica Vintage Marketplace ~a wonderful show that was held at
Legacy Farms. Each year this show is held at a different "farm location" including barns, rolling pastures & hay. Antiques, re-purposed & recycled items, fun & funky clothing, hand-made jewelry, cowgirl boots, art...& the list goes on and on...
Look at the entrance> From old rusty bed springs as the roof to torn pieces of flower sacks flapping in the breeze...
|
Lots of fun displays... |
|
Creative Jewelry Display. Check out the cheese grater holding earrings! |
|
Boots...any size, any color, any price! |
Mel & I striking a pose before we
melted in the heat~
Melanie snagged this awesome vintage "Jackson" spreader early in the show (Jackson is her grandson's name) & I found some great treasures from one of my favorite vendors,
The Little Cowgirl.
|
This turquoise cuff is one of my favorite purchases from The Little Cowgirl, while the awesome ring was a "true find" at Antiques on Maple in Lebanon |
Love this old fire engine peddle car. Wanted to take it back to the castle for
Cranky King, but it was display only!
|
Shades of aqua & turquoise are definitely the popular decor colors! |
|
The Cranky Queen adores old clocks...really didn't need any more, but they just call her name! |
|
|
The lovely painting above caught my eye immediately & I should have bought it. The artist is
Alicia Raney ~The painting is still available. Now I just have to convince
The Cranky King to opening the royal wallet~
|
I loved this pillow...this picture went in to my "I think I can make this" book~ |
The cute Package Drop Off Suitcase is an idea my gal pal,
Witchy Wanda, & I will use for our new business
Sentimental Suitcase Estate Sales. I will be "very cranky" if you don't sneak a peek at our new site, enter your email address & like us on Facebook! Speaking of cranky, look at the expression on this chi chi's face! A vendors adorable pup...
I wore my t-shirt dress with denim leggings this week & everyone loved it!
SO WHAT ELSE DID I BUY???
Fun pups that will find their "home" in my dog~themed laundry room
|
An "Auburn Univ. Orange" Suitcase! |
|
The middle clock..I have a problem~I know! |
This fun Folk Art rooster that was once a part of a weather vane!
So, at the end of the day, these 2 cow gals were "plum tuckered out"...& the sweaty brassieres proved how HOT it was in Tennessee...but
Bella Rustica Vintage Marketplace was well worth it~
Never Fear...The Steers Are Always Near!
STAY CALM & GO JUNKIN'
What fun! Wish we had a place like that near us. Love the cuff bracelet and the "clock."
