A Sneak Peek into Christmas Past....

The Cranky Queen loves Christmas...everything about it~shopping in crowds, wrapping gifts in beautiful packages, decorating our castle with a vast array of holiday themes, giving to those who are down on their luck, baking (well some cooking, but not my #1 fav), visiting with family & friends, and the birth of our Savior!...Jesus Christ.
& let's not forget those Vintage Christmas Decorations, long forgotten by some, but spark precious memories for others of their childhood!
I just adore these old Santa Clauses!
Check out the face on this little guy...I think he is hesitant to leave a package for the Cranky Queen!
Remember these old records!  I received a turquoise record player one year from Santa & was very careful not to scratch the records!
My very 1st vintage find was an old Santa mug, chippy&dirty, but I loved his wink. I still have my mug from the late 60's...plastic but precious to me!
These little fellas can still be found fairly inexpensive...and check out the yoyo sitting among the Santa mugs. Also, the Santa on the left bearing the "Merry Christmas" sign is actually a napkin holder!

More to come from the Cranky Queen's Christmas Palace...
STAY CALM & SHOUT A BIG HO HO HO!

  8. What a fun vintage Santa collection. I have one table that I have a bunch of vintage items on. I love thinking of the past evey time I walk by. One little Santa does look a bit grumpy. Maybe he's worked way too hard and didn't get any help from his elves.

  9. Thanks for stopping by and the nice comments you left about my Christmas house tour! I must admit, I am pretty cranky myself! Loving your vintage santas. I scored a cutie a couple of weeks ago at the thrift shop for 75 cents! Following along.
