Gals Gone Glitzy!

The Cranky Queen and gal pal, Duchess Melanie, have coveted these vintage ornament wreaths since they saw them 4 years ago at The Country Living FairThe Queen created one last Christmas for a dear friend, and she absolutely loved it; hence, she decided (along with Mel), that they would have a craft night and create their own.
I started with a corn husk wreath purchased for less than $2.

Melanie wrapped her styrofoam wreath with ribbon & then wrapped with tinsel

  1. Hi there! How are you...I haven't seen you out here for awhile but maybe it's just my Google reader or me and timing. Those wreathes are fabulous! I like yours better than Country Living. I NEED to make one of those but right now preparing for the dang ice storm...oh no, not again....I still have nightmares from 2009! Are you guys in the path? Almost everyone is going to get something all across the U.S. Merry Christmas to you and the Royal family! Stay safe and warm and dry.

  4. They turned out great! Wish I could have been there. My wreath, box of ornaments, glue gun and sticks are still by the door. But wreaths can wait. Grandbabies can't.
