The Queen Is On A Re-Do Roll!

I don't know what has gotten into me? The "thrifty" bug has bitten me...or maybe it is the HEAT! I have had so many creative ideas racing around in my royal brain, that I had to take off my crown, worried that my head may explode~LOL! The Cranky Queen is on a roll...and...having a ball!
I found this little dish in a trash pile when I was out walking in Louisiana  



Then I added graphics, lace, buttons, vintage paper...
A hand~made tribute to Mothers...
Finished product...The Queen did good! Don't you think?
REMEMBER THIS YARD SALE FIND FOR A DIME?
With a dab of paint, light sanding & stain...
A new toothpick holder was hatched!
Decoupaged paper & cutesy "5 chicks" graphic to lid...
Add toothpicks & it is one cock~a~doodle~doo makeover!
So the Cranky Queen has saved yet another gold coin by recycling trash to treasures.  I challenge you to "go green" & re~style...re~do...re~make.

    You will be surprised what you can find in a trash pile. My dad used to go each week. It was amazing what he would find and sell it.Enjoyed visiting and seeing all your goodies.

    First I must say, I am utterly in love with your dogs, xo. And isn't it fun to find little pieces like these, or re-vamp something in YOUR house...into an art piece. I love to do that, out styles are very similar seems to me...you MUST be a Queen. *wink*
